Is the BCLK overclock secure for this system? (Ivy Bridge i7 3770 non-k)
Is the BCLK overclock secure for this system? (Ivy Bridge i7 3770 non-k)
Hi all,
My motherboard is the ASUS P8Z77M-PRO.
I have a stable overclock of 4.3GHz on all cores: turbo ratio at 4.1, BCLK at 104.9MHz, VCore under load at 1.136v.
First question: is this chip suitable for my setup? I feel the voltage is relatively low for this overclock level?
Second question: is the BCLK too high? Could it affect stability? What’s the maximum BCLK for Ivy Bridge before issues occur?
(I’m running this while typing!)
Thanks, any advice would be greatly appreciated!
It's quite fine. Try to raise it a bit more; nothing can happen.
