Hello, I understand that Ubisoft has improved the experience with AC Unity and released a major update to address issues. While there’s a Steam sale bringing the game at a lower cost, I haven’t found confirmation that the patch fully resolved all problems. I’m hoping it now runs smoothly for you. Let me know if you’d like more details!

It seems the system is running slow even with good hardware. I’m not sure if upgrading will help me in time. Their performance feels similar to Call of Duty’s on PC—lacking consideration for gamers. Whatever you decide.

Not much awareness around AC unity these days, so it seems like it might be coming up soon and could work fine.

You require a strong GPU to handle the game smoothly at 1080p and beyond, with even more strain during cutscenes (lowering FPS). My 290X delivers 55-65fps generally, but it struggles in cutscenes, falling into the 40s. For gameplay, opinions vary based on your preferences for the story and mechanics.

A cactus encounter feels more appealing.

I mentioned it once more, Assassin's Creed Unity works well for me, though my GTX 770 GPU might handle it better than the red one. I use GeForce Experience to adjust the settings and haven’t run into any major issues. I probably won’t push the graphics to their limit, but the visuals are decent. Still, I don’t expect much from games like this—whether they’re big-budget titles or indie gems such as Star Citizen, you’ll likely be let down if you’re expecting too much.

I faced the same situation as you, but thanks to the 40% discount, I purchased it today and it’s still uploading. A 50GB file will take all day on the Australian internet.
