Have the significant problems with Battlefront II been fixed? It's being offered for less than $5, and I found the game seemed decent, but I'm not familiar with much more. What are your thoughts on the game overall?

If it's under five, it's probably worth buying and checking out. I understand the main problem that led to the backlash is mostly resolved, and many people thought the game was enjoyable if you ignore that part, so I'd expect it to be pretty good now.

I haven't played it since the latest update, though I used to enjoy it a lot. I'm hoping it's just as enjoyable as the beta was then, but I'm too busy grinding D2 most days to give it a chance. Still, at five dollars it's definitely worth a try—see what you think.
