Is SimCity worth my time?
Is SimCity worth my time?
Hello everyone, Origin is running a pro-blackfriday promotion and the SimCity Complete edition is priced at 15 Euros. Please verify that everything functions correctly after I recall TotalBiscuit mentioned the game wasn't fully polished when it first launched—similar to other releases since then. Share your thoughts and confirm your system specs are accurate. Thanks in advance!
You're thinking about the same thing again. Those old ones really stood out, and at $20 it feels like a solid purchase.
Unlikely, but I can't confirm my qualifications. This link might be useful: http://kotaku.com/5989115/simcity-the-ko...1487243638
Banished promises excitement and has received positive feedback. It shares concepts with Sim City yet offers a unique twist. Could be a fun experience worth trying. http://store.steampowered.com/app/242920/
I've been playing it for a few months now... It functions properly but doesn't match up with previous games. The main problem is that you'll run out of room to construct within just a few hours, forcing you to cram as many buildings as possible onto the small area. Eventually, you end up filling the entire region with tiny, densely packed squares—it looks odd and leaves you feeling unsatisfied. My cities never felt complete; I always wanted more space but was stuck by the game's limits!
It wasn't SimCity that I miss most—it's just not my favorite game at all. The only thing good about it is that it's less buggy than the older titles. However, it was built around forced online play, which limits your experience and makes you focus on getting others to join you. The cities are tiny compared to those from previous versions, and space runs out quickly.
