Hi Gang
I used to have Apple TV before – I’m stuck on how to sign up again (just watching it through my roku) and also on using Windows 10 Pro???
It’s a never-ending cycle of problems... Any suggestions?
Thanks

Are there particular error messages or codes when sign-ups fail again? Do you own several Apple devices? Are there shared email addresses being used across your Apple and Microsoft devices? I've noticed recurring issues between Apple and Microsoft gadgets, mostly involving emails and MAC addresses. It seems each device appears to require its own unique contact information.

For reference:

Map out the entire network layout and intended connections—include IPs, MAC addresses, email addresses, etc.—for every device. Check for any settings that seem repeated among the devices.

Hi Ralston
It's nice to see you, though I apologize for the delay.
"Do you have multiple Apple devices?"
NO
"Are you using any shared email addresses with your Apple devices?"
NO
My intention was to either restart my older Apple membership or set up a fresh Apple TV account specifically for watching Masters Of The Air...
But I’m not currently using any recently registered Apple devices. What confuses me is that I did have an active Apple TV membership last year, which was linked to my Windows Desktop PC...
Now (currently) I can’t log back in or create a new Apple membership. I keep seeing an Apple Screen prompting me to use my device for sign-in... but I don’t have one. After several frustrating attempts, I gave up and switched to using Chrome W10 Pro, which let me get a new Netflix membership that includes Masters Of The Air.
Thank you

It was requesting you to use an Apple device for Two Factor Authentication. You might still have registered devices linked to your Apple ID that could receive authentication requests. Check the iCloud website to verify. Remember, even if you used Netflix, past Apple products left behind on your account—like those sold or recycled—can be accessed by others and may contain sensitive payment details. Remove them if necessary. Apple can be quite troublesome...

Hello
CelicaGT
Thanks for the reply...
I’m surprised there’s anything here. I’m now 75 and my last Apple ID registration was back in 2006 — that was one of my old G5s. I don’t have any Apple devices, computers, or iCloud at all.
YEP!
Apple is a pain in the arse...

After many unsuccessful tries to connect to Apple TV via Netflix, every effort ended in failure. Eventually, I made my final attempt to either restart the device, rejoin, or set up a new email and apple ID—something I hadn't done in 24 years. Now I'm waiting to see what happens next.

I didn't need to begin a new thread. I managed to pay for a fresh legitimate Apple subscription with another email address via W10 Pro. I'm attempting to log into two distinct Roku Ultras, which usually works. But because I previously used an Apple TV on another Roku, the device isn't recognizing the new data. Even removing and reinstalling the app doesn't help. Unlike a PC browser, you can't simply scrub the Roku device unless you deliberately reset it entirely, forcing me to re-enter all my channel information. I'm ready to try that, just to make sure I haven't missed anything.
