Is Sager a dependable choice?
I’m planning to purchase a high-end laptop, specifically the 3080 with 64GB RAM. During my previous custom builds, I encountered a Sager Clevo (PC70HS) which I was able to assemble for significantly less than brands like MSI and Alienware ($600 less). This suggests the Sager could be the best choice, though my hesitation comes from the brand reputation. I’m concerned about potential issues with quality or unsupported software. I own an Alienware desktop and haven’t faced any problems, but I’m uncertain if it’s worth the extra $600. Additionally, I couldn’t find any reviews for the Clevo PC70HS regarding cooling or performance. Any advice on whether to stick with MSI, Alienware, or something else would be appreciated.
Numerous small stores rely on Clevo for their laptops. Sager, for example, has a great experience with it. It's easy to use, upgradable, and of high quality in my view. I no longer require a laptop and now use only desktops, though I would feel comfortable purchasing another if needed.
In the situation of Clevo/Sager, the 2015 post remains equally pertinent now.
