Is Rainbow Six Siege causing your PC to crash?
Hello, my Rainbow Six Siege is causing my whole PC to crash, and I don’t know why. It happens both on my UBI and Steam account, but my temperatures are normal—around 50°C for the GPU and 70°C for the CPU. I’ve checked my game files several times, redownloaded a few times, and even reset Windows once or twice, but nothing worked. It only occurs when the PC is running, and it seems random. Sometimes after just two hours of use, I’m unsure what’s causing it. I’m starting to think it might be related to one of my PC components, though I’m not sure. I’ve done a Windows reset with files preserved, but I’m not sure if that helps. I just want to avoid getting banned, please help me.
Do you think the issue stems from being banned? Check the Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer. Were there any error codes, warnings, or messages right before or during the crash r6?
You realize you were banned because your actions seemed suspicious or indicative of cheating. It’s unlikely due to technical problems like crashes or power loss. Many players face connectivity issues, which can affect gameplay. In online games, losing matches often happens when opponents lose due to similar problems. It’s possible the system uses certain patterns to detect such behavior and bans accordingly. You might want to check Steam for more details.
Obtain a copy of 'Who Crashed'. Execute it and examine the report it provides. It essentially converts crash dump logs into understandable language, allowing you to clearly understand system activity. The report includes hyperlinks for further investigation on Google to explore your issue and locate solutions.
I'm sorry, I think I got it right. The ban isn't important—it's just my frustration that builds up every time my PC crashes and the game ends before I can reconnect. For instance, it starts with 30 minutes, then an hour, then two hours, a day, and so on. That's why I want to fix the problem because I'm hurting my teammates by not being able to help them.
Consider checking the app directly by searching "Who Crashed" and reviewing the Reliability History or Monitor tools. These may record error codes, warnings, or events before crashes. The longer bans indicate ongoing issues that might not be easily resolved. Assistance with bypassing these restrictions is not allowed. Have you reached out to Steam or Ubi about the bans?
my crashes weren't listed for the most recent incident that appeared four days prior, and my crashes seem to be happening frequently.
my crashes weren't recorded in the report about the last crash that appeared four days ago. I crashed just like yesterday, but the bans were added to show my frustration over the game freezing frequently. The reliability history indicates windows shuts down unexpectedly, and the event viewer confirms this. The previous system shutdown at 4:44:11 PM on 8/4/2023 was also unexpected.

Power down, unplug, open the case.
Clear dust and debris.
Check visually and by touch that all connectors, cards, RAM, jumpers, and case connections are securely installed.
Use a bright flashlight to look for any signs of damage.
Hopefully something has just become slightly loose enough to cause intermittent connectivity issues and the computer to crash.
Reliability History/Event Viewer:
Increasing number of errors and inconsistent errors would raise concerns about the PSU.
