Is QuestionGaming making my CPU and GPU percentages drop almost all the time around thirty seconds?
I've been using this computer for less than a year and it always does something weird. I tried talking to the company through remote support (it was a pre-built PC) and also sent it in for repair, where they swapped out the graphics card. Here are my specs: an i7 11700F, an RTX 3060, a 750W power supply that is gold colored, Windows 10 Home with no overclocking, a BIOS that's been updated. What I've tried so far includes turning certain graphics-heavy settings like ambient occlusion and anti-aliasing on or off in the game menus and NVIDIA Control Panel. I also toggled V-Sync on and off, disabled all background processes, turned off WiFi, removed all software except Steam and the game itself, moved my tower to a friend's setup with their peripherals to check for conflicts, ran Windows memory diagnostics, switched between "game mode" in Windows 10, monitored temperatures of the CPU and GPU using stress tests or benchmark tools, manually lowered resolution, set an FPS cap, changed PC settings to max power/performance mode, did a clean reinstall of drivers using DDU (also tried old GPU drivers before), even turned off XMP profiles. I replaced the graphics card, replaced the power supply unit, and replaced the AIO cooler because the old one broke after just a few months anyway. Nothing has fixed it. Here are some links to gameplay videos and resource monitors showing me how low my CPU and GPU tanks get in the NVIDIA overlay tab. Each game description has four timestamps that link directly to the worst lag moments in each video. The lags happen in Alba, TS4, and GTA V. So, where do I go from here? Should I try replacing the motherboard, the processor (CPU), or the RAM? I have a bit of a "this is this" situation on my hands, and I would love some advice before I just throw the whole thing out the window out of frustration.
Hey there, just grab this link. Call it UBM Reboot. Sit for a minute or two. Make sure your browser is shut off before you start. Drop me a message on where you see the results.
