I just fixed an older laptop and got a new screen, extra RAM, and a new WD 1TB SSD. I installed Pop OS with XFCE as the desktop environment (I’ve never used Gnome or KDE). It’s fully encrypted, and I’m not into MS Windows. Not worth it. It’s really outdated.

Thanks for the help! I decided not to install PopOs because it stopped when it hit 70% during setup, showing an error. Since I couldn’t find the issue online at the time, I gave up on trying to fix it.
