Hi guys, just checked the driver for my GPU (RX 580 8GB). In gaming mode it's running at 1340 MHz, and in OC mode it's at 1355 MHz. If I switch it to OC mode, will it affect the lifespan of my GPU? Is that 15 MHz worth it? (I'm new to PCs)

no, it won't shorten the card's life—extreme voltages and high heat are required.
real-world results don't matter at 15Mhz.

Hey there, 15Mhz isn't going to noticeably change your gameplay stats (like FPS) or the card's durability—no worries about pushing it into the higher settings.
