it's not very loud, I can't even hear it.
my temperature limit isn't set right now, but I'm usually around 75°C in games (ultra mode). I'll check my fan speeds just to confirm.
my GPU runs at 0 RPM most of the time and occasionally reaches 750 RPM for a brief moment when not gaming.
i never adjusted this card again after getting it a month ago, it consistently hit low 70s max.
I'm not sure about GFE, but MSI Afterburner or EVGA Prevision work well. Increasing fan speeds can cause them to wear out quicker, though I don't know their expected lifespan. They might last much longer than what you're concerned about.
Are you removing your headphones? Consider getting your hearing assessed?
You mentioned your temperatures were 83C, but you said it was 70C... which one is correct?
This is typical for modern cards—they only activate their fans when temperatures reach or surpass 55-60C.
AVG55c 65c reaches its peak performance during modern warfare mode. Clock speeds can go up to 1980mhz, while other models hit 7001mhz, 1830mhz and 1275mhz. These numbers represent a significant jump from the previous benchmarks of 1365mhz, 7001mhz and 1275mhz. The current readings show a stable 1175rpm with a range of 0 to 2110rpm. It seems the system briefly increases fan speed during certain moments, similar to the spikes seen at 0-750rpm, yet it remains extremely quiet—my keyboard with brown switches is twice as loud compared to the PC. This performance was achieved without any modifications to the card (no OC).
I'm 17 years old with normal hearing. I can hear faint fan noises but my GPU sound is only audible when playing at 1440p, otherwise it gets too loud.
