If you enjoy this style, it's definitely a good investment.
Keep in mind you need to play the game multiple times to complete it, and it has some unique features that add to its appeal.

Thanks
I'm just starting out with modern PC gaming.
I've only purchased one PC game in the past two years, which is a bit of a stretch.
I'm not familiar with the genre of Nier Automata—though the trailer and soundtrack seem impressive.
The graphics quality is much better than retro titles like Doom 1 I used to play.
I'm wondering if my computer can handle it, since it might be quite demanding on the CPU and GPU.

I know there is a demo version on PS4, check if there is one on PC too? Personally it isn't my type of gameplay but I watched the whole game on youtube (alternate endings and all), love the story and music.

Thanks
I can just attempt to run it once the game is downloaded.
The GPU is just above the minimum specs, but I’m not sure about the CPU.
Perhaps the graphics card can help reduce the load on the CPU.
We’ll find out.

I've tested the demo on my old tablet and it looks like a PowerPoint presentation if you know what I mean.
I'm hoping the new graphics card will improve things.

Yeah Nier automata is a great game. i sank like 60 hours into that game on the ps4. id say its really worth it
as long as your pc has the specs to run it . it should be fine.... but i heard from other people that its not very optimized on pc.

I understand your concern. It means I'm not using the system as efficiently as possible. Also, I'm not familiar with adjusting settings for better performance.

this discussion might offer some understanding. honestly, i’m not sure about the specifics of the porting process because i played nier on ps4 rather than on pc.
