Is my voltage good?
Is my voltage good?
Hello,
Your question about the voltage is valid. At mid to high 60s temperatures, 1.08 volts is a reasonable setting for an i5 7600k overclocked to 4.6Ghz.
Sorry, I didn't expect the first one to work, but it's fine... Even though it relates to the CPU, it's helpful to know which motherboard supports the highest OC at lower voltages.
Hi matthewduman73,
I really question whether it can handle any stress test... 1.28V would be fine, though not 1.08... It's below the stock setting with 400MHz more. I believe it might boot, but nothing further. Have you run any stress tests to confirm your overclock?
Rodolphe.
Yeah I ran prime 95 for 12 hrs on 1.08V it says the voltage in bios and on HWMonitor. It's been stable for days on that voltage. I'll send pics if u like
