I have clocked my 8600k @ 4.9 ghz @ 1.345 and im getting temps b\w 70 to 75 and im using h45 water cooler …. so are my temps safe …. if not than how can I improve it without upgrading my cooler

It depends on how long you want it to last; you're still safe if you hit 75% under load, but as you approach 80°C I’d say you’re pushing too hard. As someone who’s overclocked to 4770k with around five years left, I try to keep it below 70°C so I can stick with it until late 2020. Generally, you’re okay if you’re not close to 80°C, but lowering the cache and input voltages could help reduce the heat.
