Is my Rocket League game showing a black screen or making a loud flash every time I try to launch it?
Every time I start Rocket League on Steam, my screen goes black right after the main menu loads. My monitors both stay dark even when I try to close the game with Alt+Tab or Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Sometimes a HDR pop-up shows up, but nothing else works from my side. The in-game tabs like play, stats, and options never appear once I get past the main menu. I've tried changing settings, uninstalling, and even checking the web for fixes, but nothing seems to work. Rocket League just got an update yesterday though.
Do you still hear something? The link for the black screen fix in Rocket League isn't working. Can you try updating your graphics driver or Windows just to see if it helps?
I'm still doing nothing here. When I unplugged the extra screen, it went dark on its own. But when we play the game, everything stays empty.
What is up with those monitors? Could something like that happen here? Check out this link about a multi-monitor setup going black for three people at once.
I'm alone so nothing special is going on, plus everything worked fine before. That's why it's happening right now. My old monitor got me a ASUS one which I don't know much about, but if you ask me, that shouldn't matter since I've been playing for two days straight.
