Is my PC underclocked?
Is my PC underclocked?
Hello everyone I've been facing this problem for quite some time now. My PC's performance dropped significantly from its original $700 value to a $300 model, highlighting just how much of an impact it has had. The situation has become worse with overclocking and frequent blue screens. After resetting everything to defaults, I didn't want to risk further issues since I've been dealing with this problem without the time to fix it properly. I never expected to find a solution at first, but learning from my mistakes helped. I've noticed differences in web browsing when watching videos versus normal use. I'm sure it's because another computer with similar specs works perfectly, just like this one. It seems like something is underclocked, which matches what I mentioned earlier. I'm not the right person to adjust these settings now, so I'll just make things worse. That's why I really need your help. Thanks in advance.
Ensure your BIOS is current. That should resolve the issue. Also, review your programs and remove any unnecessary bloatware or overclocking tools. I believe flashing the BIOS is the right approach—I’m not sure how to verify it’s up to date yet. Thanks for waiting.
Open the BIOS settings, then visit the official site of your motherboard maker to review the most recent BIOS version available.
If you upload the file to a platform such as Dropbox or similar, SaberCatHost could also review it, for example at https://www.google.nl/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&...J8jXYITYng
