Is my PC making a weird noise when I am playing games?
I recently have a problem where my computer keeps restarting while I play heavy games. After that, there is no picture showing up at all. My hardware details are: motherboard is Asrock B650, the processor is a Ryzen 7 7700, the graphics card is an XFX RX 6900 XT, and I have 32GB of RAM from Corsair Vengeance RGB that runs at 6000mhz. The power supply is a DeepCool model with 850 watts.
The RAM is currently set to its default speed, which is 4800mt/s instead of the supposed 6000mhz. Even though I enabled specific profiles and tried setting it manually in the BIOS, it still won't go up to that higher speed; it just shows a blank screen when booting up.
The main problem is that my PC restarts during gaming. There are no heating issues because all the component temperatures look pretty fine. I have tried some fixes from Reddit, like updating the BIOS, setting everything back to default, playing with different versions of "Adrenaline" (a stress test tool), deleting Corsair ICUE software, and testing each piece of hardware separately as well as running OCCT. None of those methods seem to work yet.
How do I know what model you mean, so I can find it right away?
There is no problem with heat because I am using MSI Afterburner to monitor temperatures, which turn out to be quite low. I'm also using a 240mm water block for my cooling system.
It's only been a couple of months since I got it, and I bought it right from the store when it was brand new.
Why do I feel nervous about your Power Supply Unit and Graphics Card pair up? The 6900 XT needs a lot of power and can be really picky, so it might need a stronger setup. Have you had trouble with this since you put everything together? Did something new happen to make that issue come back recently?
