Some folks have mentioned my motherboard struggles with high VRM temperatures. I'm worried about using it now. I checked the VRM temps but there aren't any sensors on the board. I'm not sure if that would help anyone, but when I load everything in Red Dead Redemption 2 on 4K it gets super hot. My CPU stays around 50-65°C and my GPU hits 70°C. I have an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8GHz with 70MB RAM, an Asus ROG STRIX 850W, a Kraken X53 240mm, Corsair 16 (2x8GB DDR4 3200Mhz), and other components like the Phankteks Eclipse P500A RTX 3080, MSI trio X gaming.

I don't have access to personal information like your motherboard model. Could you provide more details or clarify your question?

Moved to CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory. You listed all of your specs except for the thing you are asking about. What motherboard do you have?

It's an ASUS B450 setup. I don't see any major concerns. As long as air flows through the front case onto the board, everything should be okay.

Being associated with a particular brand doesn't automatically determine quality or flaws, particularly when it comes to high-power components. This specific motherboard has a tier E rating, so I suggest opting for a C tier board if you're using the 3800X.

As long as OP isn't pushing anything too hard, things will stay stable. People are testing Zen 3 on A320 just for fun, and so far no major issues have occurred. Everything seems okay. Your hardware is working well. If this CPU couldn't handle it, the manufacturer wouldn't have certified it.
