So I increased my FX 6100 to 4Ghz at 1.4v with Mobo-asR 970 PRO3 R2.0, and kept it running on Prime 95 for 12 hours without any crashes. Everything was fine except that during full load it reached a max of 77°C. Is the temperature okay or should I adjust something?

The 1.4V reading feels a bit too high for me. A 6100 will still push it to 3.9GHz, so your overclocking is quite minor. Each CPU/MB setting differs concerning "default" voltages, but I’d assume most 6100 models are reaching 3.9GHz at around 1.3V.

The 1.4V reading seems a bit high. The 6100 will still reach 3.9GHz, so your overclocking isn't that much of a change. Each CPU/MB setting will differ when it comes to "default" voltages, but I'd guess most 6100 models will hit 3.9GHz around 1.3V. My FX 6100 didn't go up that high—it usually climbed to 3.5 before dropping below 3.
