I was playing Genshin and decided to leave my room for about five minutes. After that time, I noticed that the game is running at only 5 FPS. I checked task manager and found that my graphics process in my GPU is using 100% power. I went to my Nvidia overlay and saw that the core speed was down to 210 MHz, memory speed at 405 MHz, and it was drawing just 15-17 Watts when idle or while gaming. Whenever I reinstall the graphics driver, everything works fine, but after a restart or shutdown, the problem comes back. I tried installing new Nvidia drivers (the latest ones and older versions), used DDU to clean them up, tried turning on "Preferred maximum performance" in the control panel, tried resetting Windows completely, but nothing fixed my issue. Any help would be appreciated. System Info: Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57-723G with an Intel i7 - 11800H and RTX 3060 Mobile card with 1x16GB RAM at 3200 MHz.

I've hit the exact same thing about when you shared this! My Acer Nitro 5 has the same processor, graphics card, and everything else. Can you help? Just reinstalling the drivers before I restart won't work for me. It's really annoying 🙁

I forgot to put a solved tag here because I posted 2 of them in different sections, but anyway here is the solution that actually worked for me. Please note that the same answer appeared on another forum section, so I'm just copying it here again. "UPDATE: I talked to Acer Philippines customer support. They told me how to reset the battery: It's basically pressing the power button until the laptop turns off and holding it for 15-20 seconds (I did it for a long time). And let it be unplugged and turned off for 15-20 minutes. After that, I plugged it back in, and it worked. My problem is now fixed thanks to Acer Philippines customer support." - Replied on March 19, 2023 https://forums. It might not be the best "solution" for you, but trying won't make you lose anything. Please keep me updated (if you're willing to) if this "solution" helped you.
