Is my headset acting like a speaker, cutting itself off, right about every five minutes?
I got this PDP LVL50 wireless headset. I just cleaned my CPU with thermal paste today, restarted my computer, and now my headset only shows up as speakers. It won't connect to my devices at all, but the headphones themselves don't turn off; they're just not showing up in my inputs.
Welcome to our forums! Newcomers need to share their full system specs when starting a troubleshooting thread. Please list them exactly like this: CPU, cooler, motherboard, RAM, SSD/HDD, GPU, PSU, case, OS, monitor, and the age of the power supply (ignoring make and model). Also tell us what version of the BIOS is on your motherboard right now. You should try reinstalling chipset drivers from a place that runs as an administrator, like Right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator. If it still doesn't work, you can uninstall your wireless adapter (which belongs to the headset) in Device Manager.
I've already done that. It feels like it stays connected when I'm speaking, but then it disconnects by itself while my headphones remain attached to me.
