I purchased another unit of these to run SLI for my new build. My CAM software shows that the GPU2 in CAM is reaching a maximum of 1417 Mhz, while the other card (GPU1) remains at its stock speed of 1190mhz. The 1417 card also tends to heat up frequently to 50c, whereas the other stays cool at 30c even during gaming. I believe it’s likely the overclocking was applied. The system is stable overall. I’m puzzled because I expected running the slower stock card to bring the overclocked one down to match.
I plan to overclock the other card to align with the overclocked one, or aim for the closest possible match. I assume it should reach around 1417. Then I’ll try to overclock the memory, which appears to be at stock speed on both sides. Sounds like a good strategy? I’m still getting comfortable with overclocking.

I ended up using MSI Afterburner, which is far superior to CAM. When adjusting settings for GPU 1, it affected GPU 2 too, unlike CAM. I managed to overclock my EVGA 970 SSC to 1617mhz and 4k memory—pretty impressive!
