I recently purchased a used 3060 Ti. I experienced a BSOD labeled "kernel power" once, and occasionally it would freeze completely before restarting: nvlddmkm 153. It's worth mentioning that these occurrences happen with minimal to no load and at seemingly unpredictable times. I also faced similar problems with my previous GPU. I haven't had any issues for several weeks. I've conducted all the tests possible, including running it overclocked for hours, playing Silent Hill 2 remake with full GPU usage for eight hours straight, and none of these actions triggered a crash or anomaly. There are five days remaining on my 30-day money-back guarantee. After thorough testing, I'm not convinced it's a GPU issue. Still, I'm unsure what others think. Should I return it? Or will I keep trying to diagnose the problem (possibly faulty RAM)?

I’d just send it back if you’re concerned about it. On the other hand, if it works smoothly when in use, I’d think it’s fine. If problems appear only when not using it—like basic web browsing or streaming—I’d suspect a monitor issue. Temporarily, it might not be getting a signal.

I’m not looking to replace it just for variety, and I don’t want to face the same problems if it’s not related to my GPU. From my tests, it seems my GPU is stable enough that crashes aren’t likely.

If the situation occurred earlier, I’d seek other options. Are you experiencing performance on GPU or CPU? What’s the temperature reading? Verify your RAM using Testmem5 or Memtest86. What are your hardware details? Would you like to reinstall Windows?

GPU and CPU stock are available—can't be occluded since it's an F variant. I plan to run Memtest 86 on each RAM stick later to check performance. I might also reinstall Windows afterward. Temperatures are within normal ranges. Intel i5-10400F EVGA 3060 TI MSI B460M Pro MAG A650BN with two x8GB RAM modules (different brand and specs).

It might look strange, but your screens sometimes disappear when you shift positions or stand up. It could be caused by a USB device connected to your PC or even from static electricity on your desk. This happens often for me, and I’m not sure what’s triggering it despite dealing with regular static issues.

Occasionally my screen behaves this way whenever I switch on my lamp or any light in the room—it’s something I don’t worry about too much.

Visit C:\Windows\Minidump to see if any minidump files exist. If present, return to the Windows directory and transfer the Minidump folder to the Downloads folder (use your desktop if needed). Compress the copied folder and include it in a post. Please adhere strictly to instructions since Windows doesn't allow file changes there.

This file isn't the latest since it was the only one in the folder from February. It's possible I also ran memtest86, which reported two errors and failed the test. I'm unsure how important that is or if it connects to my issue. Also, I made sure the CPU power cable was securely connected and turned off any unnecessary c-states, which seems like what might be causing the problem. 022425-8062-01.zip
