this happened for the first time during installation of a new game, again during launch of another game, and on the third attempt while closing a game. Initially everything froze, then after a short pause sound appears. After a few more seconds the screen begins searching for a signal before shutting down.

Without any details about your setup, it's hard to say for sure. It might just be something basic like software, a cable, or a monitor.
