I could do a test just using my graphics card since the main GPU hasn't arrived yet.
40 dollars. You might check out Goodwill to find an old Dell mid tower with either an i5 or i7 processor. Some of those old office PCs can get you a half decent graphics card and still run okay. A few years back, I bought a used Dell Optiplex from work for 50 bucks that had an i7 3770 processor and 8 gigs of RAM. When I added another 16 gigs of RAM and an SSD, it ran great for home office use. If you add something like that plus a power supply upgrade, you could probably fit in a GTX 1060 or 1070 card and run pretty well.
