When I attempt to overclock with MSI Afterburner, my PC fails to reach 100MHz. This issue also occurs with the GTX 1660Ti. Could it be related to my power supply?

On a Ryzen 5 2600x, you won't require overclocking.
The default configurations already provide excellent performance.

What is the model of your power supply unit? In what BIOS setting is your memory configured? Is the motherboard's BIOS enabled to automatically overclock the system?

I think your PSU might be part of the issue. Is it using the standard AMD cooling solution, and do you recall the earlier discussion about motherboard configurations?

I'm using AAMD stock but heard it handles mild overclocking too. What does "motherboard profile" refer to? I just know about XMP 2.0.

Several motherboards offer varied performance characteristics that can help enhance system efficiency. When activated, the device may try to automatically increase its speed, which could hinder your efforts to further overclock. I advise against using the standard AMD cooling solution for overclocking. While it might provide a slight improvement, it will be very noisy due to the high-speed fan operation. For better results, consider switching to an aftermarket cooler if boosting performance is a priority.

MSI Afterburner is used to OC your video card (GPU).
You GPU will auto OC pretty well on it's own so I would not bother manually OCing it.
And just for reference my MSI GTX 1660 Ti Armor OC only manually OC's to +125 MHz on the GPU before it becomes unstable.
And it seems you don't understand the difference between OCing your CPU and OCing your GPU.
So you probably should leave everything at stock settings because you will most likely just cause more problems/system instability.

Absolutely, I wouldn't even consider adjusting the overclock settings with the existing power supply; it looks like a really poor build for this setup. In fact, I'd wait until I have a more reliable system before turning it on.
