I keep getting stuck when I try to share my screen or turn on the virtual camera. It freezes for a second and then comes back to normal right after that. I can record and stream to Twitch using OBS without any trouble at all. I don't see any spikes in my CPU, GPU, or memory usage even while trying to share screens. Could anyone tell me what might be causing this? Thanks. My computer is like this: CPU - Ryzen 5600X, GPU - RTX 3070, RAM - 16GB at 3000MHz, PSU - RM750X (750W Gold certification), and it's been 3 years old.

Samsung SSD 860 EVO is a 1TB drive that's great for everyday tasks like gaming and storing files without lag or crashes.

I installed an old graphics card, a 1070 Ti, so the freezing is gone now. But if I put in the new one, it still freezes.

So this part is confusing because I'm not sure if new Nvidia drivers are actually needed. But usually, it's best to uninstall all the old graphics card drivers and reinstall them from scratch. If that doesn't solve anything, then try taking those drivers out completely and installing a much older version of the driver just to check if anything changes at all. Also - does this affect other apps than just OBS? What about video games too?

I've tried updating my graphics drivers again and it didn't help. Even after trying different old driver versions, it still doesn't work. My computer isn't freezing when I play games, but right before the game starts, whenever I try to share my screen on Discord, it goes on and off. The moment I stop sharing, everything comes back up normally.
