I have trouble with my 5G internet. I thought my connection would be fast and consistent on Frankfurt servers, but it's actually slow. Even when my signal is strong or weak, my ping stays between 80 and 90 instead of being under 30. This is happening in all games too. I tried using an ethernet cable, but there are still no downloads running in the background.

why are you getting so slow when you should be faster? Have you tried running it before?

5G internet is just a fancy name for regular wireless internet. You don't need an ethernet cable to connect your computer because that wire usually only goes from the PC straight to the router.

It's common for me and my friends to have 5G internet access now.

Yeah, outside your router there is wireless stuff. You and the folks on the other two floors might get totally different results with the ping test.

I am confused. I do not mean to talk about 5GHz Wi-Fi or 5G.

Go check your computer at a friend's house and see if it works well.
