I've started using Midtown Madness and Midtown Madness II on my old laptop, but it stopped working. I'm looking for ways to get the games on my Windows 10 computer. They aren't available on GOG or elsewhere, and it seems tricky to run the installer from Windows 98. Any advice?

Another choice is to launch a Windows 98 virtual machine. This would be suitable if you don’t require internet access, as it allows isolation from external networks and avoids security concerns. Another possibility is testing compatibility with Wine.

It doesn't run smoothly in Wine, especially on W10. I'm not sure if VMs can generate drivers for Windows 98, but I don't have a copy of W98.

You're not very familiar with the process, but others have done it before. If you have the image, you can likely upload it and proceed without much trouble. It should require minimal effort if it functions correctly. If it does, they probably have drivers that match your needs.
