The 3600 isn't a costly premium CPU. Even with the 4000 lineup, the price might only drop €20-30. OP would have to wait a bit longer just to recoup that amount. It doesn't look like a good deal.

The X570 board is a specific type of Intel processor board. Please hold on while I look it up for you.

Consider purchasing immediately or wait to evaluate the 4000 series. Saving a few dollars by waiting could be worthwhile, but it depends on what the owner decides. It seems unlikely the person has a computer available right now.

My computer isn’t performing well and there are issues. The gigabyte Aorus Elite, which I mentioned as a high-end model, seems to have problems too.

It seems like a solid build with ISL69138 and 6 SIC634 chips, paired with ISL6617. It won't struggle with a 16-core processor unless Zen 3 is extremely power-hungry, which I don’t think it will. Just not a top-tier rig, but it should work fine.

It's possible the term was misunderstood. If a more powerful CPU exists in the same price range as the 3600, I'll choose that option.

With AM4 at least, a 3600 is the top option you can find for about $200. Keep an eye on Zen 3 and see what it brings.
