I have set up my PC like this: The processor is an Intel Core i5 13400 inside a tray cooler called C13400T. My CPU gets air from the ANTEC A400i cooler that sits on top of it. I'm using a motherboard from Gigabyte named B760M DS3H AX DDR4. This board is for my 16GB of RAM, which comes in two 8GB sticks running at speeds up to 3600 CL18 and uses the VENGEANCE LPX Black model. I put this inside an ANTEC CASE NX410. My power source is a CoolerMaster MWE GOLD 750 - V2 Full Modular unit named MPE-7501-AFAAG-WO. For graphics, I have an Inno3D GeForce RTX 3060 8GB that has two slots and uses the model N30602-08D6-11902130. My storage is a Crucial P5 Plus 1TB PCIe Gen4 M.2 drive named CT1000P5PSSD8. I am using Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit on my computer. I want to know if it makes sense for me to switch to Windows 11 with this kind of hardware. Any help would be super helpful. Thanks!

I don't think there would be any upgrade problems. Are you having any issues with Windows 10 right now? Just for safety, how full are your hard drives? When making a change like this, it's really important to backup all the important stuff before starting. Back up the files somewhere safe and not on the same computer being upgraded. Check that those backups work again and can be read easily.

Get the Health Check tool so you know what you're getting into. You can also use an upgrade assistant to make things super easy and foolproof. I prefer Windows 11 for work over Windows 10. But if people say that gaming isn't as good on W11, then maybe IDK is the right word there too. If those problems are fixed, I won't feel like I'm losing anything out.

I have not had any constant problems with Windows 10, but I am really interested in how much better Windows 11 looks and works, especially the PC Manager feature that might be a good way to clean up my computer instead of CCleaner. About my hard drives: - The Local Disk C is where Windows lives, and I have used about 125 gigabytes out of a total space of 604 gigabytes. - The Local Disk D has also been used for around 275 gigabytes out of 326 gigabytes. Thanks for your help! I'll try the Health Check tool now. Your tips on using Windows 11 to get things done are very helpful, and I will watch closely if gaming gets slow or laggy. Thank you again.

It's a PC with parts that came out after Windows 11 got released. I think it can run it easily, but checking the test would be better just to make sure. Here is the link for that check: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...he...f37caa7844

Here is your rule of thumb: don't let drives fill up more than 80% full. The C drive seems fine, but D looks at 84%. That's not bad, but maybe a bit scary. I'm expecting the drives to be bigger—604 GB and 326 GB instead of what you see now. Could it be that they are split into different sections? Maybe run Disk Manager and show everyone the full picture. Take a picture of the screen and send it here on Imgur (www.imgur.com) so we can figure things out better.
