Upgrade only if performance meets expectations. This offer isn't worth it and isn't a solid deal. Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts. Total comes to $581.00. List generated by PCPartPicker on April 10, 2020.

I’d choose the cash and get a better GPU since prices are dropping. The CPU and motherboard can handle more upgrades, and the new GPU would really improve gaming performance.

Not worth it at all unless you actually need more cores for heavy video work or rendering for example. CAD would be a valid reason as well, but, we are talking pretty serious CAD here. Unless you have a very valid reason to upgrade your CPU, your 7700k is fine. Slap an overclock on there to something like 4.8 GHz, and your sitting in the top % of CPU performance.

This model offers strong performance at a lower cost compared to alternatives like the 3700X or B450. It remains durable enough for tough use, and future upgrades such as a 3950X are feasible later on.

He’s got a 1080 Ti graphics card, which ranks third among available options after the 2080 Ti and 2080 Super.

It's a solid offer in Norway, though I might have to cut back on some features if I wanted a more affordable motherboard.

I don't understand the reason for displaying prices in USD. Even in NOK, the listings include item costs. Prices are shown in kr for Korean won and total amounts reflect kr8388.80. The offer isn't particularly impressive when considering a more advanced motherboard. However, if you're looking to save on a Ryzen 9 with multiple cores, it might be worth considering.

it's simpler for folks outside Norway to grasp the cost. if you check the Ryzen 9 3900x price, the PC partpicker lists it at $578, which is $100 more than what I can currently afford... that’s about $1000 in value. so yes, $475 (about $4850 in local currency) makes a solid deal for this model.
