Is it worth trying RTX Quake 2?
I can't believe people really invested in those RTX GPUs and are still holding out for RTX to arrive, no matter where or how. It's disappointing, honestly—it's sad. No one wants a clunky game that looks like it was made 30 years ago and plays terrible. Just forget about it. If AMD is right, ray tracing will be here by 2023, but let's just move on.
It seems to focus more on the modifications made to a 20-year-old title rather than its gameplay elements.
We should look at each other's performance, comparing my RTX 2080 with raytracing to your Nvidia Vanta 16MB GPU on my Windows 98 gaming setup.
Observe the significant differences.
