I heard about Quake 2 and a remake with Ray Tracing.  Should I even bother that game is soo old like twenty+ years old.  Also does it have multiplayer ?  Should I even bother with this or is it gonna be shitty looking and make me barf and what not.   Thanks all

It's enjoyable to experience a smooth ray tracing session, especially when running it on my Titan to test its capabilities.

It's free, so you might want to give it a shot.

But let me tell you, the textures are going to be pretty bad, right? How much can RT handle? Would it look like Quake 3 or Quake Champions, which I think is the best freaking game ever made for this genre? I have Q, why would I even bother with Quake 2 anyway? Does it look like a 20-year-old version of Quake 2 with just some ray tracing and stuff?

Thank you for your input. I'm just worried it might not recognize your side mouse buttons or middle buttons, but left and right clicks seem to work fine.

It should. Again, it's free, so you don't have anything to lose.

Hey there! I'll check out Steam and see how it goes, hehe. Thanks for helping me believe in it! Also thanks for your support. I'll bring my thoughts back later. Thanks all!

Oh wow, now it mentions shareware demo with a checkmark and full game—sounds confusing. I thought I'd get the full version, but it's asking for my old Quake 2 files that I don't have. So the only option left is the shareware demo?

Are you considering purchasing the complete version for 4.99 to access the full RTX game experience?

Yeah, that's what I did. I own a 1050ti, but it didn't work.
