I just played Batman Arkham Knight and wanted to know if Criterium is worth the effort. Was it enjoyable? Or was it just a list of tasks with intense kills?

yes, yes and yes! It's an incredible game, and will provide many many hours of fun gameplay to you! Just make sure you have a decent rig to run it, it can be quite difficult to run!
