Is it Visual Basic for Applications or Visual Studio? Which one do I need to pick between them?
Is it Visual Basic for Applications or Visual Studio? Which one do I need to pick between them?
I am trying to fix this problem with Microsoft but can't do it yet. I have Office 2016 Pro on my computer. I use macros every week using the software. I downloaded a spreadsheet from a really good place and they said they used Office 365 to write the code for those macros. When I tried running them, I got an error saying I can't find the project or library. I updated Visual Basic for Applications but it still isn't showing up on my PC even though that's where they told me VBA would be located. Updating the version of VBA doesn't work because the update program says there is no VBA on my computer to update.
Here are my two questions:
1) I downloaded Visual Studio thinking it would put all the files needed for VBA onto my PC, but it didn't happen. So what is the difference between Visual Studio and VBA?
2) Where can I get the regular VBA program? From everything I have read, the VBA program should already be in my Office 2016 Pro download. I tried fixing or modifying Apps & Features and there is still no VBA on my PC. Please help me!
this source uses which version of Microsoft Office? and it doesn't tell us which exact book (library) caused the problem?
VBA is just a language. It lives inside the Office tools. You don't need to buy a separate "program" for it. The Office apps already come with VBA built-in. Visual Studio is another tool, used by people who want to write code using VBA or other languages too. Office 365 and Office 2016 are similar but not identical. If you bought something made just for O365, your older Office 2016 might not have the same libraries needed to run those specific macros.
Hey, can you show me the specific problem you're seeing right now?
Can I simply add this image from my Pictures folder instead of downloading it all over again? That seems way too much trouble, so why not use what you already have saved?
Yeah, he told me he wrote this and uses Office 365 for it. He said it's probably an old problem from before Office 365. If I want to fix it, I might need to upgrade my software. Do I have a specific question for him?
I discovered that Shockwave Flash isn't there, and that's why my code won't build. Now that it's officially dead, what do I do to stop this problem from happening again?
