Is it typical for certain mechanical keyboards' switches to vary in length?
I own an affordable Asian $12 mechanical keyboard (we're in a developing country—Bangladesh), and I've observed that the keycaps have a wave-like shape. For instance, the ESC key's switch stem is longer than my TAB key's switch stem. Each row of keys maintains consistent stem height. Although the model isn't widely known, it's the Game Valley KL-106 keyboard.
I own an affordable Asian mechanical keyboard priced at $12. What are the specifications of this device? Real mechanical keyboards typically begin around $50, with more advanced models offering additional features and design details—though at that price point they’re often custom-made. Budget options usually use components that aren’t found in higher-end or bespoke keyboards... it’s like they were just gathering dust until someone needed them. (We’re in a developing country.)
Which one should I be considering?

I believe what you're observing is the key cap design (heights) compared to the actual switch having varying lengths on the switch steam poles. They remain fairly consistent overall, but as shown in the image below, the type of key caps can significantly affect the keyboard's layout and flow from one row to another.
