Is it truly beneficial to boost your CPU's performance?
I was just curious if you really see a difference with overclocking your cpu. I just recently bought a water cooler for my cpu. Does it make it run better?
Yes, it's worthwhile, provided you maintain a cool demeanor.
I own an Intel 8700K, MSI Z370 Gaming pro Carbon AC motherboard, and a Corsair 850 watt power supply.
It would be beneficial, particularly when performing intensive encoding or related tasks. Keep in mind to stay calm.
You're unlikely to notice any change since your CPU won't be operating near full capacity even during normal speeds.
In my opinion, if you already have the necessary components and don’t need to purchase an upgraded cooler, it’s a free performance. Whether or not you notice a difference depends on your specific use. However, if you simply enjoy experimenting with settings without going too far, why not give it a try?
