I wouldn't claim it's secure, but it should function properly as long as the PCB and the component are similar, just with some differences.

If it doesn't work, you might end up with an unusable card. This could be your only graphics card, so I wouldn't suggest it.

Yes, unless you possess a bios flasher unit such as CH341A, you can proceed without any concerns.
