The X570 Taichi offers solid performance but isn't a top-tier premium choice. For serious high-end builds, consider the X570 Dark Hero, X570 Aorus Extreme or ASRock Aqua. If you're budgeting heavily for 128GB RAM, these alternatives might be worth exploring. For better memory compatibility and overclocking potential without breaking the bank, the B550 Unify from MSI is a solid option. The X570 Taichi matches the X570 Aorus master. I’m trying to figure out which one to choose and possibly get the master, but it has many issues with the BIOS. A lot of people have mentioned that. So I’m considering getting the X570 Taichi or the Asus Viii.
I reviewed the QVL list on Taichi and X570 VIII Hero. It seems there isn’t a 64GB RAM setup with four sticks from GSKILL that fits your needs. If it exists, it would likely cost more—around $700–800 for two 32GB sticks instead of just two 64GB units. Since you don’t have two 32GB sticks on the QVL, what options do you have?
I selected only GPU and CPU, as instructed. You mentioned verifying the QVL—I did, but no suitable option was listed for 64GB. If you're unsure how to proceed, I won't respond.
