Hello, can you confirm if installing the F61a BIOS on your "Aorus B450 M" works with a Ryzen 5 3600 processor? I’m unsure if this BIOS is limited to Ryzen 4000 and 5000 models. The link you shared points to the official BIOS download page: https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/...rt-dl-bios. I already have the F51 version and don’t have a dual-bios switch. Well when updating the bios all you can do is hope and pray that the power doesn't cut out randomly. Even with laptops, they need to be plugged in for a bios update

To stay safe, you need a strong, quick UPS, but otherwise just hope it works.

All you can do is pray unless you decide to invest in a large UPS. Take a look around the house and see if any electrical work is planned; otherwise, just install and pray. There’s no 4000 series for desktops—only the 5000 series are available, so you won’t have to worry about your 3000 CPU failing temporarily.

I think the most recent BIOS version still works with your processor. Usually a warning appears if a chip isn't supported (like F30 indicating Bristol Ridge is out of support). I'm also confident your board runs Gigabyte's DualBios, according to the documentation. My lower-end Gigabyte B350 model includes it too—no toggle needed. If your BIOS crashes, it will automatically fall back to a previous version. It’s not ideal, but it definitely helped me when my update didn’t work.
