Question - I have an old system in the basement with very basic specs, but I'm planning to improve it slightly with an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. It has a Ryzen 7 5800X with 32GB RAM at 3200MHz and a 650W PSU, while the previous one was an RTX 4060 Ti with 8GB RAM. I'm trying to boost it just enough to run recent games at 1080p on decent settings. What do you think? forums. Are these two systems different?

yes they are, my primary focus is on this subject and I own an older model in the basement (bought on fb marketplace at a favorable price)

Just confirming that starting two threads simultaneously with similar specifications doesn’t seem to cause issues. This setup should work well for several years, shouldn’t it? Are you seeing performance as expected?

the latest test I conducted was in Wuchang, and it performed exceptionally well at high resolutions with RTX 1440. I’m really hoping to get an RTX 5070 soon, but they said my current specs aren’t enough. The 50 series would be a big improvement for an AM5 CPU and faster RAM, so I’m just reaching out to the experts for advice.
