Details provided: The system features an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU paired with a motherboard from Asrock B450M Steel Legend. It includes 32GB of RAM split into two 16GB modules, DDR4-3200 with XMP/DOCP support, and a Colorful iGame RTX 4060 Ti graphics card. Storage is an HP SSD EX900 with 500GB capacity, paired with a PNY CS900 960GB power supply from Cooler Master MWE Bronze V2 delivering 650W. The setup also includes a 230V non-full-range display and an Acer QG240Y S3 Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 CFM CPU cooler. The operating system is Windows 11 Pro. With this configuration, the question arises whether running four RAM sticks simultaneously will remain stable.

With the components available, test it yourself. Earlier Ryzen chips had less efficient memory controllers, so achieving 3600 MT/s with four sticks might not be possible. This will vary based on your specific board and processor. Are you constrained to 32 GB of RAM at the moment? If yes, having more space is probably better than higher speeds. Otherwise, go with 32 GB.

It should likely function, but the key is the speed setting. Start at maximum and see how it holds; if it wavers, reduce the pace. This relies on the extra memory boosting any slowdown from slower RAM. My knowledge is a bit fuzzy—didn’t expect Zen 2 to have a solid controller for Ryzen with 16GB modules.

It's possible I'm misunderstanding. I think I remember Zen 3 better for its memory support, while Zen 1 didn't perform as well. The details about Zen+ and Zen 2 aren't very clear to me.

Zen and Zen+ struggled with RAM at speeds above 3200. They seemed to need a strong memory controller to perform well. Zen 2 offered better compatibility and brought the 3600 frequency range into play. I haven’t had a Zen 3 desktop, so I’m unsure if they handle those speeds as effectively.

It should work well with single rank sticks. Using dual rank increases the likelihood of encountering problems.

I had my initial AM4 processor that was a 3600XT, and it could handle 4x8 at 1900 with ease and minimal strain.

Test it and adjust if needed.

Sure, I understand. It's okay if I don't reach the highest speed.
