Greetings everyone,

Is it feasible to restrict access to my Steam account solely to regions within my country of residence?

The reason for my inquiry is that my login credentials and password have been detected originating from China, and I am consistently receiving numerous login attempts from that location.

I currently have two-factor authentication enabled, and I understand I can change my password; however, this has prompted me to investigate whether it’s possible to block access via IP address or geographic location restrictions – or similar mechanisms.

Thank you for your assistance.

Regarding the matter you’ve brought to my attention, it appears this has been a persistent issue for some time now. The most effective solution I can envision would be to modify the email address linked to your Steam account, and I strongly advise contacting Steam Technical Support to facilitate that process.

I haven't encountered any information concerning measures to prevent these login attempts, and if individuals possess sufficient knowledge to obtain your Steam credentials, they are likely capable of bypassing any implemented security blocks.

Given that Steam already identifies and flags access attempts originating from China, implementing a blockade against such activity appears feasible to me.
