Start a fresh AM4 build. Overclocking my RAM still isn’t working. Here’s the setup:
R5 2600
ASRock B450M Pro4
G Skill Aegis 2x8GB LX16-18-18-38 1.35v
When I change RAM speed in BIOS to 2933 or 3000MHz, the system beeps three times after restarting and then drops back down to a nonsensical 2133MHz.
The XMP 2.0 profile isn’t helping either. Am I making a mistake with this configuration? Maybe it’s time to sell this and get another one.

From their website, it appears there is only a QVL available for the intel z200/300 series chipset.

F4-3000C16D-16GISB functions as OC RAM, meaning the XMP profile won't apply since OC RAM at 3000MHz exceeds the JDEC standard; thus they default to 2133MHz. This doesn't prevent functionality entirely—just requires adjusting Primary Timings and Voltage in the BIOS to match their specifications. It's also advisable to update your BIOS if you haven't already.
