Hello, I'm deeply passionate about Call of Duty: Warzone and am curious to know whether my system will be capable of running it smoothly at 30 frames per second or higher, utilizing reduced graphics settings. My specifications are as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i3-3240 at 3.4 GHz with 2 cores and 4 threads
RAM: 8GB DDR3 memory
GPU: R9 380 with 4GB of VRAM from GIGABYTE
Storage: A 1TB hard drive operating at 7200 RPM – I do not have an SSD.
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro (version 1909)

Furthermore, I’ve observed gameplay footage online from users with comparable hardware, specifically utilizing a GTX 1050 2GB and achieving 60 frames per second while recording. It’s possible that this was accomplished using a capture card, though I remain uncertain about the exact method.

Here’s a brief update: It functions smoothly at frame rates of 45-50 frames per second when using the highest settings.

The minimum and suggested hardware details can be perplexing or even deceptive. It seems your graphics card should perform adequately, while your central processing unit is only “somewhat” sufficient.

Could the processor be causing the issue? If so, is there a significant variation between the 3240 and the 4340 models?

Certainly, from my perspective, the 4340 appears to be approximately 15% faster than the 3240, although the 3240 is nearly as speedy as the 6300. I'd likely give it a shot, wouldn’t you? After all, it seems to be accessible without cost online.

I submitted the communication, so if you discover it seems unusual, you’ll understand why.

The Intel i3-3240 likely isn't intended for playing Call of Duty, which explains your low frame rates. Examining the system requirements reveals that this processor isn't officially supported, though you might be able to make it work with a GIGABYTE R9 380 4GB graphics card. However, the CPU could still be insufficient for a smooth gaming experience.

I’ll give it a shot, simply to observe the outcome, and thank you for that nonetheless.

My attempt to play Call of Duty: Warzone on a desktop with an Intel i5-760 processor and a GeForce GTX 7850 graphics card, along with 8GB of RAM, has been challenging. I lowered all visual settings within the game's options and reduced rendering quality as best I could. While I’m achieving approximately 60 frames per second, it's inconsistent because my central processing unit and graphics card are struggling to keep up. I typically see frame rates between 45 and 55 fps on favorable days, although the visual quality is noticeably diminished when viewing details up close. Please send good wishes; I simply wanted to test it out. Monitor your CPU temperature as well!
