I suggest choosing MBs from ASUS for overclocking, as their equipment list indicates not just light adjustments but substantial upgrades needed for meaningful results. Based on my experience, only ASUS motherboards can handle more than basic open-stand modifications to achieve a noticeable boost. This is just my opinion.

GarryH_Geek suggests using MBs from ASUS for overclocking due to their ability to handle serious modifications for better performance. He notes that only ASUS motherboards can endure more than basic overclocking attempts. He also recommends ASUS or MSI boards, mentioning Z77 as a solid choice.
