My graphics card is an MSI GeForce GTX 1050 2G Overclocked, and I noticed it lacks a dedicated power connector from the original configuration. My question is: what would occur if I installed a separate 6-pin PCI-E connector? Here’s an image for reference: https://imgur.com/gallery/NkAYOBo

Even if you incorporate additional power supply components, you’ll still require BIOS modifications to fully utilize them, and due to the encoded BIOS of the 10xx series, this presents a challenge.

Even if you incorporate additional power delivery components, you will still require BIOS modifications to utilize them, and given that the 10xx series feature encoded BIOS firmware, this unfortunately presents a challenge.
