Greetings everyone. I’m planning to broadcast live. Previously, I streamed using a PlayStation 4, but I no longer do so. My goal is to determine if my hardware can effectively stream and simultaneously play PUBG (at low settings, 1080p resolution) with a frame rate of 60fps. Currently, I achieve an average of 75-80 frames per second at 1080p using professional configurations (with all settings minimized and anti-aliasing maximized) while playing PUBG. I will be utilizing OBS for streaming. My system specifications are as follows:

Z97 Gigabyte Motherboard
Intel Core i3 4160 3.6ghz (2 core, 4 thread)
16gb DDR3 1600mhz memory
Asus GTX 670 2Gb gddr5
750w Antec Power Supply
2x 120gb SSDs
1tb HDD

A Ryzen 4790k could be an excellent option, offering both compatibility and the ability to boost its performance through overclocking. Explore the secondhand market for one. Consider graphics cards such as an RX580 or 480, or a GTX 1060 to improve your system's visuals.

It’s unlikely this would significantly diminish your output. You currently lack sufficient graphics processing unit (GPU) or central processing unit (CPU) resources. While I am not a specialist in live broadcasting, generally speaking, you require extra processing power for successful streaming.

It’s unlikely you'll have a satisfactory streaming performance with that device. Furthermore, even if you were able to stream, viewers probably wouldn't remain engaged watching the game at reduced graphics quality.

Despite the remarkably sharp and forceful replies I’ve gotten, I want to express my gratitude for your quick answers. If I were aiming to improve my streaming quality, what component would you recommend upgrading?

I’ve been considering the RX 480/580 graphics cards. Thank you for your suggestions and guidance.

If you intend to watch videos online, upgrading the processor is strongly suggested as a starting point.

You can transmit video smoothly utilizing your existing hardware—either a graphics card or integrated graphics—as long as you leverage it for the streaming process. OBS supports both QSV (Intel) and NVENC (Nvidia), and both codecs have a negligible impact on your CPU usage and a minimal effect on your GPU performance.
