Is it possible for a computer's main board to harm a graphics card?
Recently, my Corsair One Pro system was operating perfectly for approximately a month, but suddenly my motherboard failed. This was unexpected, so I replaced it with a new one and installed it within the case. Subsequently, I began experiencing issues including brief periods of black screens followed by screen recovery, accompanied by stuttering and random system restarts. I discovered an individual on eBay who was facing a similar predicament. I am uncertain how to proceed with resolving these problems.
Although improbable, it’s conceivable in reverse. A graphics card draws 12 volts from the PCIe connection and could potentially harm the mainboard.
